Overview:

J-Spot Services is seeking a reliable and detail-oriented operator to join our growing team. As an essential member of our JetVac crew, you will play a key role in operating hydro excavation equipment, removing debris from pipes and drains, assisting with high-pressure jetting, and ensuring all equipment is properly maintained and inspected. The ideal candidate is proactive, safety-conscious, and enjoys collaborating with team members and clients to get the job done efficiently and to the highest standard. Key Responsibilities:

• Work directly with customers and contractors while providing exceptional customer service.
• Operate and maintain hydro excavation equipment.
• Site preparation and cleanup.
• Jetting, cleaning, and inspecting pipes, sewer systems, etc.
• Safety compliance.
• Work with team members.
• Perform miscellaneous job tasks.
• Maintain a clean and organized work environment.

Qualifications:

• Previous experience is preferred but not required. 
• Strong social and problem-solving skills.
• Clean-cut, professional appearance.
• Clean driving record.
• Must have a Class B CDL, or be willing to obtain one.
• Ability to pass a pre-employment drug test.
• Able to safely operate basic hand tools.
• Excellent communication skills and attention to detail.
• Ability to work independently.
• Lift up to 100 pounds.

 

Physical Demands:

• Lifting and carrying heavy tools and equipment.
• Prolonged standing and walking.
• Bending, kneeling, crawling, squatting, climbing.
• Working in confined spaces.

 

Working Environment Hazards:

• Exposure to varying weather conditions including heat, cold, rain, and snow.
• Exposure to hazardous materials.
• Flying debris, mud and high pressure water.
• Confined spaces.
• Noise.
• Air quality and respiratory issues.
